German designed and manufactured, we come across SMA inverters running at full capacity aVer 15 years of service in the harsh Australian climate, lasGng far beyond most compeGtors. We are disappointed at the price, however, as the chargers are at least a $1000 more than their main rival Fronius. The SMA car chargers are built with the same long-term philosophy of quality without compromise. If you own a SMA inverter and use the monitoring app Sunny Portal, the chargers seamlessly communicate via Smart connect and are part of the SMA infrastructure.
